OneCamp is our brand new event concept for Scouts WA, bringing together everyone from Joey Scouts to Rover Scouts to participate in adventurous, fun, challenging and inclusive activities linked to Milestones, Outdoor Adventure Skills and Special Interest Areas.
Our theme for OneCamp 2023 is Eclipse. Western Australia is the best place on the planet to see the total solar eclipse in April 2023! Just as the sun, moon and earth align, OneCamp 2023 – Eclipse will unite our age sections as we share out-of-this-world Scout adventures.
Bringing our One Program vision to life, all participants from Joey Scouts to Rover Scouts will camp together in OneCamp Units, supported by adult Leaders. OneCamp Units will camp together, eat together, tackle activities together, and support wellbeing together. OneCamp Units will be grouped together to form OneCamp Villages.
OneCamp will be held during April 2023 in the Swan Valley, around 30 minutes from Perth City. Expeditions and offsite activities will be held across Western Australia.
Official applications to attend OneCamp 2023 are not yet open. Applications will open later in 2022 and will close in December 2022. The application opening date will be publicised widely through our usual communication channels. In the meantime, you can register your interest and be the first to know when official applications launch.

Program
OneCamp 2023 participants will experience everything Scouting has to offer across nine program elements. Each age section will tackle a different set of program elements to reflect their journey along their personal progression.
Challenge Zones
Onsite activities focused on a Challenge Area of Outdoor, Personal Growth, Creative or Community.
Outdoor Adventure Skills Zones
Onsite adventure-based activities with experienced participants leading less experienced participants.
Special Interest Area Zones
Onsite zones focused on STEM, innovation, sport, arts, literature, environment, and creating a better world.
Adventure
A single offsite experience with a specific focus such as abseiling, boating, personal development, bushcraft, teamwork, or creative arts.
Mini Expedition
An overnight offsite experience with a specific focus such as cycling, photography, cooking, target sports, or snorkelling.
Expedition
A multi-day offsite experience with a specific focus such as kayaking, sailing, bushwalking, leadership, or pioneering.
One Program Day
The culmination of OneCamp. All age sections will be onsite, and our Swan Valley site will be buzzing as we welcome visitors to promote Scouts WA.
Hubs
Quiet, relaxed spaces for Scouts to take a break, meet new friends, buy merch, get the latest news, connect with home, and grab a snack from a food truck.
