The excitement for OneCamp 2026 – Discover is building as the Design Squad, a dynamic team of Scouts from across Western Australia, recently gathered to film the promotional video that will set the tone for the upcoming event. Held at the scenic Swan Valley Adventure Centre, the filming day was a blend of creativity, collaboration, and a shared passion for Scouting.
OneCamp 2026, scheduled for April 11–18, 2026, aims to bring together Joey Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venturer Scouts, and Rover Scouts in a unified camping experience. The theme Discover encapsulates the spirit of exploration, personal growth, and forging new friendships through adventurous and inclusive activities.
The Design Squad, comprising enthusiastic youth members, plays a pivotal role in shaping various elements of OneCamp, including program development, marketing strategies, merchandise design, site planning, and menu options. Their involvement ensures that the camp resonates with the interests and aspirations of Scouts.
During the promo shoot, the team showcased the diverse activities planned for OneCamp 2026, highlighting the unique opportunities for Scouts to challenge themselves and discover new skills. The Swan Valley Adventure Centre, with its expansive 36-hectare grounds, provided the perfect backdrop, featuring a mix of open and shaded camping sites, existing facilities, and access to the Swan River for water-based activities.
As the promotional video enters the final stages of production, anticipation is mounting among the Scouting community. The video is expected to be released in the coming weeks and will be available on OneCamp’s official website and social media channels.
