Have you done an activity at Enterprise? If the answer is no, then no need to worry, The OneCamp Daily has you covered. Earlier today we paid Enterprise a visit to find out what it is all about.
To help us learn more about Enterprise, we had a chat with Kanni from Goollelal Greenwood Scout Group, who described the vibe at Enterprise as “very chill”. Here Scouts get the chance to release their creativity in a sustainable way.
As we walked through Enterprise, we found Scouts making bags, crochet squares and other creations. While some Scouts were creating, others were destroying old crochet clothes so that the thread could be reused for future activities.
While this seemed fun, the highlight for us was watching Scouts turn old newspaper into what Kanni described to us as fire starters. These fire starters were drying when we visited but once dried, we anticipate the fire danger within Enterprise to rise a tad.
We got the chance to speak to some of the Scouts from Carramar and 1st Salisbury who were working on these fire starters and we told them that should OneCamp burn down, they will be our prime suspects.
To finish off our visit, Kanni told us about her service project for Wheelchairs For Kids where she is seeking help from fellow Scouts to crochet squares which will be turned into blankets. If you want to give Kanni a hand, come and say high to her at Enterprise!
