The first OneCamp 2026 expedition has officially departed, with participants on the Great Southern Roadtrip hitting the road and kicking off the expedition phase of the event.
As one of the multi-day offsite experiences offered at OneCamp, the Great Southern Roadtrip sees Venturer and Rover Scouts travelling beyond the Swan Valley to explore regional Western Australia. Expeditions form a key part of the OneCamp program, designed to provide participants with opportunities for adventure, challenge, and personal growth through shared experiences.
After final briefings and preparations, the group departed from Perth, beginning their journey south. Over the coming days, they will travel through the Great Southern region, taking part in a range of activities while developing teamwork, independence, and resilience — all core elements of the expedition experience.
The departure of the Great Southern Roadtrip marks an exciting milestone for OneCamp 2026, with expeditions running across Western Australia in the lead-up to Core Camp. All expeditions will conclude before participants return to the Swan Valley to continue their OneCamp journey onsite.
More expeditions will continue to roll out over the coming days, each offering a unique experience and helping set the tone for the week ahead.
We wish all participants safe travels and look forward to hearing more from the road.
