Manjedal Adventure Centre offers a beautiful bush setting for groups of Scouts to enjoy high-adrenaline adventures away from the main OneCamp site.

The overnight Discover MAC mini expeditions sees Scouts enjoy mountain biking, kayaking, crate stacking and high ropes.

‘So far, so good,’ explained Eden, a Darlington Scout from C03, as they tested out their mountain bike before hitting the trails.

‘The crate stacking was fun and I got 11, which is pretty good.’

‘And I’m really looking forward to the mountain biking.’

Ebony, a Busselton Sea Scout from C01, had already completed their mountain bike adventure and had even ridden down a big set of stairs.

Their next challenge was the high-ropes course.

High above the grounds, Scouts clip into safety lines and face their fears as they clamber over, under and around a series of obstacles.

‘It does look a bit scary,’ Ebony admitted as she put on her climbing harness. ‘But it’s the reason I came here.’
